A sampling of design projects:

  • 7000 square foot Spanish Revival home in La Habra Heights, CA, working with the building architect and the landscape architect from the planning stage. Rich in design details including hand finished walnut and stone floors, hand painted beams, stained glass, iron gates, interior and exterior fountains, as well as incorporating client’s art.
  • 9600 square foot home, exclusively remodeled plus a new 1500 square foot guest/entertainment pavilion and pool for Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock in their gated Beverly Hills community. A complete makeover of the exterior presence of the home with an open clean but warm interior. The new pool/entertainment area uses beautiful stone and tile, enhancing and blending in with the existing home.
  • 9000 square foot contemporary home for Shaquille O’Neal in Southern, CA. Extensively remodeled to add architectural interior detail, including molding and iron work, and accommodating his size, while making it still comfortable for his smaller family and friends.
  • 12,000 square foot Spanish Revival home designed by John Beyers in the late 1920’s in La Canada/Flintridge. Extensive restoration and remodeling to make it livable for a young family, with teen and preteen children, who did large scale entertaining.
  • 900 square foot apartment on the Upper Westside of Manhattan for a mature, single man. Located across the street from Lincoln Center, the owner-a former TV director likes to entertain, so every square inch was put to good use.
  • 1100 square foot condo in an Oceanside high-rise with panoramic views. Gutted the unit in order to accommodate better lighting, update kitchen and bathrooms, and to take more advantage of the view. This was an ASID Award winner.
  • 7000 square foot two level, multi-use commercial space. Extensive remodeling to give it European charm-one of the principal tenants imported Italian furniture-including interior garden spaces and a roof garden. This project was an ASID Award winner.
  • 2400 square foot apartment in the Olympic Towers just off Fifth Avenue in Manhattan for a couple who enjoyed the urban lifestyle and entertaining. Adaptable furniture and arrangements made it cozy for two couples dining or spacious for 30 guests having cocktails.
  • 5000 square foot “ranch house” for a ranch in Central California, from helping select which knoll to place it on, to selecting building materials and designing masculine, but formal, interiors…like some really serious rock fireplaces.
  • 2800 square foot condo in Laguna Beach, CA. Joining together two stacked units on a corner location overlooking the ocean. Created an open, contemporary, family friendly easy to maintain “beach house”.
